Short Summary:
ProPublica is seeking a creative product manager to enhance digital systems and experiences for its fundraising and membership program, working closely with the membership team and other colleagues to engage readers and sustain independent journalism.
Responsibilities:
- Connect product strategy, roadmap, and operations for digital fundraising and membership systems.- Translate fundraising goals into product priorities and metrics.- Collaborate with development and product teams to optimize donation and membership experiences.- Define key metrics and evaluate progress with an analyst.- Use data and experimentation to improve donor acquisition and retention.- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver scalable products.- Manage third-party platforms and recommend system integrations.- Configure integrations and automations as needed.
Requirement:
- 3+ years of experience managing consumer or donor-supported products.- Experience with technical and non-technical teams.- Familiarity with CRM, CDP, ESP, A/B testing, and payment platforms.- Strong product judgment and analytical skills.- Excellent project management and communication skills.- Curiosity and adaptability regarding membership revenue.- Ability to travel for team meetings and training.
