Short Summary:
We’re looking for a Manager, Information Systems Engineering to lead our Network and Cloud Infrastructure team and drive our IT automation initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and mentor a team of engineers, providing technical guidance and supporting their professional growth through regular feedback and coaching.
- Manage the deployment and upkeep of our cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP) and on-premises network hardware, ensuring maximum uptime and performance.
- Implement IT automation workflows using tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Python to streamline provisioning and configuration management.
- Maintain network security standards, including firewalls, VPNs, and SD-WAN configurations, while leading our ongoing Zscaler ZIA/ZPA rollout.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as Security and DevOps to align infrastructure support with broader business objectives.
- Oversee incident response for network and cloud-related issues, conducting root cause analysis (RCA) to prevent future disruptions.
- Manage project timelines and resource allocation, ensuring that infrastructure upgrades and migrations are completed on schedule.
- Monitor system performance and costs, identifying opportunities for optimization and efficiency within our cloud spend.
Requirement:
- 5+ years in a leadership role, with experience managing network and/or cloud engineering teams.
- Demonstrated ability to lead complex IT initiatives and deliver against operational goals.
- Strong understanding of networking fundamentals and cloud networking.
- Experience managing cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with a focus on stability, security, and scalability.
- Hands-on experience with Zscaler ZIA/ZPA or comparable platforms strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to execute technical roadmaps, project plans, and infrastructure initiatives end to end.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools to maintain system health and visibility.
- Clear and effective communicator, able to provide status updates to leadership and translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders.
