Short Summary:
Primer is the unified infrastructure for global payments, providing finance and payments teams with visibility and control to reduce complexity and improve performance. The Infrastructure team owns the platform for deployment and internal tooling, operating in a remote-first, async environment with high autonomy.

Responsibilities:
- Own Primer's internal developer platform end to end, including CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows.
- Build the human-AI development loop to enhance developer productivity.
- Take operational ownership and join the Core Infrastructure on-call rotation.
- Partner with product teams to improve tools and frameworks.
- Shape standards around service building and configuration.

Requirement:
- Strong cloud infrastructure experience (AWS preferred).
- Hands-on Kubernetes experience.
- Proficient in Infrastructure-as-code (Terraform preferred).
- CI/CD as a core competency with a history of measuring and improving delivery.
- Comfortable owning production systems and being part of an on-call rotation.
- Genuine software engineering background.
- Async-first communicator in a remote team.
- Nice to have: Experience with AI or agent tooling, familiarity with MCP servers, and experience in payments or fintech.
