Short Summary:
The Senior Competitive Intelligence Manager will build and run PagerDuty’s competitive intelligence program, equipping sales teams with insights and strategies to win against competitors.
Responsibilities:
- Define, execute, and optimize the competitive intelligence program through feedback and engagement with cross-functional teams.
- Equip sales team with key positioning and messaging via battlecards, bulletins, and internal training.
- Uncover competitive differentiation and maintain knowledge of Win/Loss and competitor capabilities.
- Monitor and assess competitor activity and report back to stakeholders.
- Train field teams regularly on the latest competitor intelligence and strategies.
- Collaborate with product and PMM teams to articulate messaging for GTM success.
- Provide independent views of win/loss through external interviews.
- Enhance research and content delivery using AI and automation tools.
Requirement:
- Deep fluency in IT and Digital Operations.
- At least 5+ years of leading competitive intelligence for a product or product lines; SaaS B2B preferred.
- Field-focused with a strong emphasis on providing effective messages and tools.
- Ability to plan work, drive through ambiguity, and deliver high-quality content.
- Strong organizational skills to simplify and articulate complex information.
- Desire to work with AI tools for automation and improvement.
