Short Summary:
The ASEM organization at NXP is seeking a Senior System Engineer to support innovative projects related to the transition from a 12V to a 48V energy architecture in automotive systems.
Responsibilities:
- Design and test hardware prototypes addressing challenges around 48V introduction at ECU and vehicle levels.
- Benchmark different architectures and explore design spaces for optimal performance and power efficiency.
- Develop low-level embedded software for ARM-based microcontroller architectures.
- Debug implementations using Lauterbach or other debugging solutions.
- Follow software development processes and quality standards.
Requirement:
- Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical or Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- 10+ years of experience in electronic definition, design, or similar roles in industrial or automotive semiconductor applications.
- Strong analytical skills for modeling and analyzing electronic circuits and systems.
- Excellent communication skills in English and good cultural awareness.
- Expert knowledge in semiconductor architecture and design of electronic cards.
- Prior experience with Automotive Tier 1 or 2 suppliers is a plus.
- Experience in analog power distribution components used in automotive ECUs.
- Knowledge of low-level embedded software (C/ASM) for ARM-based microcontrollers.
