Short Summary:
NXP’s AI and Chip Engineering (ACE) organization seeks a Senior Analog Mixed-Signal Engineer to join the Data Converter team, focusing on high-performance analog and mixed-signal IP development for various applications. The role involves end-to-end ownership of complex designs and leading a technical team.
Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and verify state-of-the-art ADCs, DACs, and supporting analog building blocks.
- Take end-to-end technical ownership of complex circuit blocks or complete data converter IP.
- Lead a small technical team, providing direction and coordinating activities.
- Translate system and product needs into clear IP specifications and verification plans.
- Develop robust solutions meeting demanding performance and reliability requirements.
- Maximize reuse of circuits and design knowledge across NXP product lines.
- Drive innovation and contribute to technical roadmaps and continuous improvement.
Requirement:
- Master’s or PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Microelectronics, or Integrated Circuit Design.
- Minimum of 12 years of industry-related experience, with a preference for 15+.
- Extensive experience in analog and mixed-signal IC design, particularly in ADC and DAC development.
- Proven ability to independently architect, design, verify, and debug complex circuits.
- Strong understanding of data converter fundamentals and architectures.
- Hands-on experience with full-custom analog design tools, including Cadence Virtuoso and MATLAB.
- Demonstrated technical leadership and communication skills.
