Short Summary:
The Treasury and Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day treasury, digital asset custody, liquidity, reconciliation, and operational control activities supporting the firm’s crypto asset business. This role will manage the movement, safeguarding, and reconciliation of client and operational assets across multiple custodians, wallet infrastructure providers, and trading venues.
Responsibilities:
- Administer digital asset wallets and custody infrastructure across platforms including Fireblocks, Coinbase, BitGo, and other approved custodians.
- Oversee the timely sweep of client digital asset deposits and ensure accurate attribution to client accounts.
- Perform and oversee daily reconciliation of wallet balances, custodian account records, and trading records.
- Monitor operational, settlement, and client withdrawal liquidity across custodians and trading venues.
- Support the operational administration of approved digital asset staking activities.
- Serve as the primary treasury and operational point of contact for transaction-related compliance escalations.
- Prepare treasury-related information for regulatory reporting and examinations.
- Own and maintain treasury-related standard operating procedures and control documentation.
- Act as the primary operational relationship contact for treasury and digital asset infrastructure providers.
- Produce daily, weekly, and monthly treasury reporting covering client and operational asset balances, liquidity positions, and reconciliation breaks.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
- Approximately 5+ years of relevant experience in treasury, brokerage operations, or related financial services.
- Prior experience in a regulated financial institution or digital asset business is strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in Excel and experience with operational reporting and reconciliations.
