Your impact

As our first Italian Sales Development Representative based in Lisbon, you will play a pivotal role in driving Mollie’s expansion across the Italian market. You will join a collaborative team of SDRs, taking full ownership of identifying key decision-makers and uncovering new business opportunities.

In this role, you will reach out to target prospects via email, phone, and social channels, qualifying leads and scheduling discovery meetings for our senior sales team. By working closely with sales and marketing to refine outreach strategies and maintain accurate records in HubSpot, you will build a predictable pipeline that fuels European growth.

What you'll ship

• Conduct targeted research on the Italian market to identify high-potential business clients and key decision-makers.

• Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns across email, phone, and social media to generate interest and qualify leads based on budget, needs, and timeline.

• Schedule qualified discovery meetings for the senior sales team, directly expanding Mollie's merchant pipeline.

• Complete a structured 3-month ramp-up and consistently hit or exceed monthly and quarterly outbound activity and appointment targets.

• Maintain clean data in HubSpot CRM while collaborating with sales leadership to optimize outreach strategies and reporting workflows.

What you'll bring

• 0–1 years of experience in sales, customer service, or a relevant commercial environment.

• Native or fluent Italian language skills with strong written and verbal communication abilities, alongside professional English proficiency.

• High motivation, goal-oriented drive, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Strong research and problem-solving skills to identify market opportunities and connect with target stakeholders.

• Continuous curiosity paired with a strong personal drive to learn, adapt, and develop professionally.
