Short Summary:
As a Platform Engineer in our Edge & Networking team, you will maintain critical infrastructure components that serve as the main entry point for all customer traffic, ensuring secure and reliable transaction handling for over 250,000 merchants.

Responsibilities:
- Design and operate highly available systems, implementing strategies for failure.
- Optimize the Edge API Gateway for a seamless user experience.
- Scale the Mollie Cloud Platform (MCP) through infrastructure management automation.
- Collaborate with system and software engineers to set and maintain SLOs and SLAs.
- Drive observability and monitoring using tools like Datadog.

Requirement:
- 4+ years of experience in Platform or Infrastructure Engineering.
- Expertise in Cloud Networking & Kubernetes, managing complex cloud infrastructure (GCP, AWS, or Azure).
- Strong programming skills in Go or Python.
- Mastery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
- Proactive, leadership-oriented mindset.
- Nice to have: Experience with API Gateways, messaging systems like RabbitMQ/PubSub, familiarity with PHP or Java, basic Lua programming.
