Short Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Python & Tableau Developer with 10+ years of IT experience to design, develop, and support data-driven applications and reporting solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, enhance, and maintain applications using Python.
- Build and support REST APIs and backend services.
- Develop data processing, transformation, and automation solutions.
- Integrate applications with databases, APIs, and third-party systems.
- Write clean, reusable, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Perform unit testing, debugging, and performance optimization.
- Design and develop interactive Tableau dashboards and reports.
- Create executive dashboards, KPI scorecards, and analytical reports.
- Develop Tableau data models, calculations, parameters, filters, and LOD expressions.
- Optimize dashboard performance and usability.
- Publish and manage content on Tableau Server/Tableau Cloud.
- Gather reporting requirements from business stakeholders and convert them into visual insights.
Requirement:
- 10+ years of overall IT experience.
- 5+ years of hands-on Python development experience.
- 5+ years of Tableau dashboard and reporting experience.
- Strong experience in SQL and data analysis.
- Experience working on enterprise-scale reporting and analytics projects.
- Exposure to cloud-based analytics solutions is preferred.
- Programming & Development: Python (Advanced), Pandas, NumPy, Flask/FastAPI (preferred), REST API Development, Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
- Tableau: Tableau Desktop, Tableau Server / Tableau Cloud, Dashboard Development, Tableau Prep, Advanced Calculations & LOD Expressions, Dashboard Performance Tuning.
- Database Technologies: SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Oracle, MySQL.
- Cloud & Tools: AWS / Azure (Preferred), Git/GitHub, CI/CD Tools, Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
