Short Summary:
The Training Lead - Biology will build the capacity of teachers for the Khan Academy programme in Andhra Pradesh, collaborating with UNICEF and the AP education department to enhance teacher skills and improve Biology learning outcomes for students in Grades 11 and 12.

Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver a comprehensive professional development strategy for teachers, mentors, and principals.
- Strengthen classroom teaching and drive the adoption of Khanmigo (AI teaching assistant).
- Guide teachers in using Khanmigo and digital resources for diverse pedagogical explanations.
- Monitor student practice and assessment data to support targeted instructional interventions.
- Conduct 4-6 field visits per month to observe classroom practices and provide feedback.
- Facilitate a feedback ecosystem for mentors to review teacher-created artefacts.
- Track teacher engagement and learning progress using dashboard data.
- Document training sessions and participate in programme review meetings.

Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience, including 3+ years as a Biology teacher for grades 11 and 12.
- Strong mastery of Grade 11 & 12 Biology and ability to translate knowledge into effective teaching strategies.
- Fluency in Telugu is mandatory.
- Experience in designing & delivering training programs is preferred.
- Willingness to travel across the state for training or school visits (up to 50% of the time).
- Passion for education and strong communication skills.
