Your role
Key responsibilities in your new role

• Independently performing physical analyses for internal customers from Manufacturing as well as Research & Development
• Operating optical microscopes, scanning electron microscopes (SEM), and Focused Ion Beam (FIB) systems
• Preparing samples using mechanical, dry-chemical, and wet-chemical processes, as well as other sample preparation techniques
• Preparing and documenting analysis reports for customers and stakeholders
• Participating in departmental development projects, knowledge-sharing meetings, and contributing to internal method development initiatives

This position operates in a continuous shift system with 8-hour shifts, following a 6-on/4-off rotation pattern: employees work six consecutive days (two morning shifts, two late shifts, and two night shifts) followed by four consecutive days off.

Qualifications and skills to help you succeed 

• A completed vocational qualification in a relevant field such as Microtechnology, Physical-Technical Assistance (PTA), or qualification as a state-certified technician in any technical discipline
• Ideally 1-3 years of laboratory experience in a relevant environment, combined with a strong technical aptitude and understanding
• Solid proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
• Very good written and verbal communication skills in both German and English are mandatory
