Short Summary:
Impinj is seeking a detail-oriented Order Management Specialist to join their collaborative Order Management group. This role is essential for managing order workflows, supporting account management, and ensuring seamless communication between internal teams and customers.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately review and process incoming sales orders, including verifying customer details, product configurations, pricing, inventory availability, and delivery terms.
- Conduct peer reviews to ensure accurate order entry.
- Assist in managing inventory locations for efficient organization and retrieval.
- Process and consolidate orders to optimize shipping efficiency.
- Monitor order progress throughout the fulfillment cycle, identifying potential delays, and proactively communicating updates to customers and internal teams.
- Maintain and send weekly backlog reports to customers.
- Address and resolve customer inquiries via SFDC, providing effective support and ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
- Work closely with sales, product management, operations, logistics, and accounting to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
- Manage and route customer inquiries to the appropriate teams for efficient follow-up.
- Maintain accurate order information within the company's order management system.
- Assist in generating reports on order metrics such as backorders, fulfillment times, and sales trends.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures related to order processing and fulfillment.
Requirement:
- Skills and experience commensurate with 2+ years as an Order Management Specialist in a complex environment with increasing responsibilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Self-motivated with a knack for being meticulous and detail-oriented.
- Customer-focused mindset with a commitment to quality service.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Proficiency with Order Management Systems (OMS) and ERP platforms.
- Experience working with D365 and Salesforce.com is preferred but not required.
