Short Summary:
Hyperbolic Labs is on a mission to democratize AI by breaking down barriers to computing power with our Open-Access AI Cloud. We are looking for a Supply Specialist to help grow and strengthen the supply side of our GPU marketplace, focusing on sourcing GPU capacity and building long-term relationships with infrastructure partners.
Responsibilities:
- Source new GPU supply across NeoClouds, data center operators, cloud infrastructure providers, and other technical infrastructure suppliers.
- Build, manage, and grow your own pipeline of supplier relationships from initial outreach through signed agreement.
- Negotiate commercial agreements, including pricing, reserved capacity, SLAs, payment schedules, deposits, contract terms, and termination provisions.
- Own supplier negotiations from first conversation through execution of LOIs, MSAs, order forms, and other commercial agreements.
- Conduct commercial diligence on potential suppliers, validating GPU capacity, technical capabilities, operational reliability, and counterparty risk.
- Partner closely with Sales and Finance to align supplier agreements with customer demand while maintaining healthy marketplace economics.
- Work alongside Legal to ensure supplier contracts accurately reflect negotiated commercial terms.
- Maintain visibility into market pricing, supplier availability, capacity trends, and competitive dynamics across the AI infrastructure ecosystem.
- Represent Hyperbolic at industry events, conferences, and customer meetings to strengthen relationships within the GPU infrastructure community.
- Help develop scalable processes and best practices as Hyperbolic continues to expand its global supply network.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.
- Approximately 4–6 years of experience in business development, partnerships, supply, sales, or commercial roles within cloud infrastructure, AI infrastructure, or enterprise technology.
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements involving infrastructure, cloud services, hosting, colocation, dedicated servers, GPUs, or similar technical products.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills with experience managing deals from sourcing through contract execution.
- Ability to evaluate deal economics, pricing structures, margins, and commercial tradeoffs.
- Comfortable reviewing commercial contract language, including service level agreements (SLAs), payment terms, liability provisions, and operational commitments.
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple negotiations simultaneously.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build trust across suppliers, customers, and internal stakeholders.
- Excited to work in a fast-paced startup environment with high ownership, ambiguity, and direct exposure to company leadership.
- Passion for AI infrastructure and a desire to stay current on the rapidly evolving compute ecosystem.
