Short Summary:
GoodLeap is a technology company focused on sustainable solutions, providing financing and software products. The Senior Director of Software Engineering will lead the Funding & Payments engineering team, responsible for the architecture, delivery, and operational health of systems that process contractor transactions.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and grow the Funding & Payments engineering team.
- Mentor engineering managers and senior ICs.
- Own hiring, calibration, and career development.
- Define and communicate a multi-quarter engineering roadmap.
- Own the architecture and reliability of systems.
- Guide technical decisions across a distributed services ecosystem.
- Partner with Product, Risk, Compliance, and Operations.
- Drive CI/CD, observability, and deployment automation.
- Manage technical debt and platform scalability.

Requirement:
- 10+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in technical leadership roles.
- Proven track record in regulated fintech, lending, or payments platforms.
- Deep experience with distributed, event-driven microservices architectures.
- Strong grasp of cloud-native architecture (AWS or equivalent) and modern CI/CD practices.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
