Short Summary:
Galaxy Digital is seeking a Site Development Associate to support data center development activities in Lubbock, Texas. This role involves advancing sites through entitlement and permitting, building relationships with officials, negotiating with landowners, and coordinating with utilities.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and support site entitlement efforts, including zoning, platting, and land use approvals.
- Serve as the primary contact with municipalities and public officials on assigned projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with local officials.
- Prepare and deliver presentations to public bodies.
- Identify and acquire necessary permits for site development.
- Coordinate with utility providers to confirm service availability.
- Support land acquisition efforts and negotiate with landowners.
- Manage real estate contracts and coordinate with legal counsel.
- Communicate project status and risks with internal stakeholders.
- Develop knowledge of data center development requirements.
- Travel within the Lubbock region and Texas as needed.
Requirement:
- Experience in real estate development with involvement in at least one completed project.
- Demonstrated experience working with municipalities and public officials.
- Strong presentation skills to public bodies and internal leadership.
- Understanding of Texas oil, gas, and mineral rights.
- Basic knowledge of real estate contracts and the closing process.
- Experience negotiating in land acquisition.
- Strong communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally and regionally.
