Short Summary:
Extreme Systems Engineer provides technology and product consulting, technical sales support, and performs high-level technical presentations for customers and partners. The role involves supporting RFI/RFP responses, leading Proof of Concept activities, and designing solutions to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Provide technology and product consulting.
- Perform technical sales support for various account opportunities.
- Conduct high-level technical presentations for customers and partners.
- Support RFI/RFP responses and lead Proof of Concept activities.
- Design solutions that meet customer requirements.
- Participate as a specialist on assigned virtual teams.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.

Requirement:
- Excellent presentation skills (fluent in German and English).
- Strong pre-sales engineering track record in a similar position.
- Knowledge of fundamental networking technologies (Layer 2/3 switching, IPv4/v6 routing, VPNs, Wi-Fi, network security).
- Experience with cloud technologies, network management, SD-WAN, and automation scripting is an advantage.
- Ability to work as part of customer project teams and set criteria for successful PoCs.
- Experience in major account management and closing deals is necessary.
- Industry certifications are a plus.
