Worksites are unanticipated.</p><p></p><p><b>Job Title: </b>Director, Quality Assurance</p><p></p><p><b>Salary: </b>$217,150.00/year</p><p></p><p><b>Job Duties:</b></p><ul><li>Develop and execute the overall QA vision, strategy, and roadmap in alignment with product and engineering goals.</li></ul><ul><li>Build, scale, and lead a global QA team, including onshore and offshore members.</li></ul><ul><li>Establish KPIs, metrics, and reporting processes to measure software quality and team effectiveness.</li></ul><ul><li>Design and oversee robust automated testing frameworks including UI, API, performance, and regression.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure comprehensive performance/load testing strategies are in place for high-volume SaaS environments.</li></ul><ul><li>Oversee and improve CI/CD pipelines for continuous deployment.</li></ul><ul><li>Leverage AWS, Azure/OCI or GCP services to scale testing infrastructure.</li></ul><ul><li>Evaluate and integrate AI-driven QA tools to enhance testing accuracy, coverage, and speed.</li></ul><ul><li>Stay up to date on the latest testing tools, frameworks, and trends—introduce best-of-breed technologies.</li></ul><ul><li>Work closely with Product Management, Engineering, Compliance, and Customer Support to ensure test coverage and release readiness.</li></ul><ul><li>Collaborate with Regulatory and Security teams to meet HIPAA, HITRUST, and other compliance requirements.</li></ul><ul><li>Champion quality and operational excellence by promoting test-first and shift-left approaches.</li></ul><ul><li>Continuously improve QA practices, tools, and team performance.</li></ul><ul><li>Use SaaS platforms in regulated industries including healthcare and life sciences to validate software quality, ensure regulatory compliance, and maintain audit-ready documentation.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform frameworks and load testing of cloud-based applications.</li></ul><ul><li>Apply knowledge in healthcare domains to ensure software meets industry-specific quality standards, patient safety requirements, and clinical workflow needs.</li></ul><ul><li>Manage distributed/offshore QA teams.</li></ul><ul><li>Perform automated functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing using modern test automation tools including Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and TestNG.</li></ul><ul><li>Use CI/CD tools and cloud platforms including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure/OCI and GCP to implement continuous testing pipelines, automate deployment validation, and ensure release quality.</li></ul><ul><li>Use AI-enhanced testing tools including Testim, Functionize, and Mabl.</li></ul><ul><li>Ensure compliance with healthcare standards including HIPAA and HITECH/HITRUST 2.</li><li>Use Kubernetes, Docker, container and networking expertise to accelerate test automation, improve test coverage, and reduce manual testing effort<b>.</b></li><li>Test and develop terraform infrastructure scripts.</li><li>This is a fully remote position. Worksites are unanticipated.</li><li>Domestic travel is required once per quarter for up to 3 to 4 days per trip.</li></ul><p></p><p></p><p></p><p><b>Primary Requirements: </b></p><p><b>Education: </b>Master's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.</p><p></p><p><b>Experience: </b>At least five (5) years of experience as a Principal Applications Developer, Lead Architect, Sr. QA Engineer, Product Test Engineer, Network Administrator, or a closely related occupation. </p><p></p><p><b>Alternative Requirements: </b></p><p><b>Education: </b>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Business Informatics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a closely related field.</p><p></p><p><b>Experience: </b>At least seven (7) years of experience as a Principal Applications Developer, Lead Architect, Sr. QA Engineer, Product Test Engineer, Network Administrator, or a closely related occupation.  </p><p></p><p><b>Special Requirements</b>: Five (5) years of experience in a leadership role.</p><p></p><p>Demonstrable knowledge and prior experience in:</p><p></p><ul><li>SaaS platforms in healthcare, life sciences, or similarly regulated industries;</li><li>Performing frameworks and load testing of cloud-based applications;</li><li>Healthcare Applications testing;</li><li>Managing distributed/offshore QA teams;</li><li>Each of the following modern test automation tools: Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, and TestNG;</li><li>Each of the following CI/CD tools and cloud platforms: Jenkins, GitHub Actions, AWS, Azure, OCI and GCP;</li><li>Each of the following AI testing tools: Testim, Functionize, and Mabl;</li><li>Healthcare compliance standards including HIPAA and HITECH/HITRUST 2;</li><li>Kubernetes and Docker;</li><li>Testing and developing terraform infrastructure scripts.</li></ul><p></p><p><b>Travel Requirements</b>: Domestic travel is required once per quarter for up to 3 to 4 days per trip.</p><p></p><p><b>Work Hours</b>: Full-time, 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.</p><p></p><p><b>To Apply:</b> Please apply through <a href="https://www.evercommerce.com/about-us/careers" target="_blank">https://www.evercommerce.com/about-us/careers</a>.
