Short Summary:
As a Hungarian or Maltese Translator, you will translate texts from English into Hungarian or Maltese in the fields of economics, finance, central banking, and banking supervision. You will work collaboratively with other translators and contribute to the Language Services Division's overall strategy.
Responsibilities:
- Translate texts from English into Hungarian or Maltese.
- Revise and proofread texts in Hungarian or Maltese.
- Identify, extract, and compile terminology in Hungarian or Maltese.
- Work with language technology tools, including machine translation.
- Collaborate with other translators to produce ECB communications.
- Contribute to the overall strategy of the Language Services Division.
Requirement:
- Master's in translation/modern languages or equivalent.
- Minimum 4 years professional translating from English into Hungarian or Maltese.
- C2 in Hungarian or Maltese and C1 in English.
- Experience with CAT tools, MT, and translation memories.
