Short Summary:
Envision Energy is seeking a Senior Specialist in EHS to conduct inspections, develop plans, and deliver training in the energy or construction sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Conducting inspections
- Developing plans
- Delivering training
Requirement:
- 5-7 years of relevant EHS experience in the energy or construction sectors
- NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent recognized Health & Safety qualification)
- In-depth knowledge of Health and Safety legislation, CDM regulations, and applicable codes of practice
- Proven background in the energy or construction sectors
- Demonstrated experience conducting safety audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations
- Strong understanding of electrical safety protocols and practices
- Ability to design and implement practical safety strategies and site-specific controls
- Confident in delivering inductions, toolbox talks, and safety training sessions to diverse audiences
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Collaborative mindset with ability to work effectively alongside contractors and multi-disciplinary teams
- Full driving licence and willingness to travel frequently to project sites
Benefits:
- Specific experience working on Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) projects is advantageous
- Prior experience in the renewable energy sector
- TechIOSH or working towards CMIOSH status
- Experience with ISO 45001 implementation or maintenance
- First Aid qualification
- Formal investigation training (e.g., ICAM, TapRooT, or similar)
