Short Summary:
The Senior Paralegal will provide essential legal operations and administrative support to the legal department of a publicly traded renewable energy company, enabling attorneys to focus on complex legal matters and strategic initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Manage entity formation and corporate compliance, including drafting formation documents and maintaining corporate records.
- Maintain and organize all legal files, documents, and records.
- Draft and review routine legal documents under attorney supervision.
- Assist with oversight of the Company’s intellectual property portfolio.
- Serve as primary coordinator for contract execution.
- Assist in the organization and preparation for Board and Committee meetings.
- Support public company compliance matters.
- Provide support with litigation and other legal disputes.
- Create and maintain a comprehensive legal form files library.
- Maintain legal department calendars and deadline management systems.
- Serve as point of contact for legal questions and requests from other departments.
Requirement:
- 8+ years as a Paralegal in a law firm and/or corporate environment.
- Paralegal certificate or bachelor’s degree.
- Current and valid Notary Public commission in California.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communications skills.
- Willingness to learn in a dynamic environment.
- Professionalism and discretion in dealing with sensitive matters.
- Collaboration skills and proactive work ethic.
