Start date2026-09-07End date2026-12-31Project Description The team is responsible for maintaining and developing business-critical case management applications used primarily by Customer Service. These applications support daily operational processes and are important for efficient customer case handling, stable service delivery, and a good user experience for internal users. The team is entering a period with a significant set of lifecycle management activities related to older applications. This includes modernization, technical debt reduction, platform upgrades, and remediation of lifecycle and security-related risks. In parallel, the team will contribute to building a new modern user interface to support the KYC process within the case management area. The two consultant roles are intended to strengthen the team in complementary areas: one with a stronger focus on LCM activities combined with Angular/frontend guidance and capability building, and one with a stronger focus on legacy modernization, lifecycle management (LCM), and technical risk reduction. Both consultants are expected to work as integrated team members, contribute across shared priorities, and support the team’s ambition to increase the use of AI-assisted development in everyday engineering work. Assignment Context Team mission: Enable high-quality and efficient case processing across customer channels by providing flexible, scalable, and cost-effective case and process management solutions with strong focus on user experience, test automation, and continuous improvement. Main user group and stakeholder: Customer Service. Business area: Case management, including support for the KYC process. Key delivery focus: Lifecycle management of older applications combined with upcoming modern user interface development. Team capability need: Strengthening frontend competence, especially around Angular, through hands-on collaboration and knowledge sharing. Engineering direction: Increased use of AI-assisted development, modern engineering practices, and movement towards trunk-based development. Primary focus This is a senior fullstack role with a primary focus on supporting lifecycle management (LCM) activities and reducing the delivery load on the team. The consultant should contribute hands-on to maintenance, modernization, platform upgrades, technical debt reduction, and other activities needed to keep existing business-critical applications stable, secure, and maintainable. In addition, the profile should provide frontend and Angular guidance for upcoming UI development, including best practices, frontend setup, maintainable component design, and knowledge transfer. The role is expected to strengthen the team’s frontend capability through hands-on collaboration, mentoring, and practical support rather than being limited to isolated UI delivery. Required competencies Strong fullstack development experience, with solid frontend capability and the ability to contribute across both existing applications and new development initiatives. Experience working with lifecycle management, maintenance, modernization, technical debt reduction, and long-term maintainability of business-critical applications. Solid experience with Angular, TypeScript, modern web technologies, REST APIs, and user interface development. Strong experience with . NET/C# and modern . NET development practices, including ASP. NET Core. Experience designing, developing, improving, and maintaining scalable, secure, and user-friendly business applications. Experience with GitHub, GitHub Actions, CI/CD pipelines, code reviews, and automated deployments. Preferred competencies Familiarity with . NET Aspire for local development, service orchestration, observability, and cloud-native development. Familiarity with event-driven architectures, messaging patterns, and technologies such as Kafka. Understanding of software architecture, frontend architecture, integration patterns, microservices, distributed systems, and cloud-native platforms such as Kubernetes. Experience guiding other developers in Angular best practices, frontend architecture, development setup, and knowledge sharing within a team. Experience from regulated environments, case management, KYC, life and pension insurance, insurance administration, or similar process-heavy domains. Modern Engineering Practices Strong interest in modern software engineering practices and continuous improvement. Experience with automated testing, code reviews, CI/CD, and quality-focused development. Experience from teams adopting or moving towards trunk-based development, with small frequent integrations and fast feedback loops.
