Video Editor

We are looking for a creative and skilled Video Editor & Videographer at Devsinc with approximately 2-3 years of professional experience. The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of visual storytelling and the ability to take a video project from concept and production through to final delivery. The candidate will be responsible for shooting and editing engaging content, including podcasts, social media reels, interviews, promotional videos, and other digital content. They should also be comfortable creating motion graphics and graphic animations that improve the overall storytelling and visual quality.

Responsibilities

* Manage end-to-end video production, including planning, shooting, editing, and final delivery.

* Edit podcasts, social media reels, interviews, promotional videos, and other short-form and long-form content.

* Turn raw footage into engaging, well-paced, and visually compelling stories.

* Repurpose long-form podcast content into attention-grabbing reels and social media clips.

* Capture high-quality footage using professional camera equipment.

* Handle lighting, framing, composition, and audio recording during shoots.

* Create motion graphics, animated titles, lower thirds, transitions, and other graphic animation elements.

* Apply professional color correction and color grading using *Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve*.

* Add sound design, visual effects, transitions, and other creative elements where required.

* Collaborate with the marketing and creative teams to develop content ideas aligned with brand objectives.

* Organize and maintain raw footage, audio files, project files, and other video assets.

* Stay updated with current social media trends, editing styles, platform formats, and audience preferences.

* Manage multiple projects while meeting deadlines and maintaining production quality.

* Work efficiently in fast-paced and high-pressure situations.

* Approximately 2-3 years of professional video editing and videography experience*.

* Strong storytelling skills with a good understanding of pacing, structure, emotion, and audience retention.

* Strong proficiency in *Adobe Premiere Pro and DaVinci Resolve* for editing, color correction, and color grading.

* Working knowledge of *Adobe After Effects* for motion graphics and graphic animation.

* Experience editing podcasts, reels, interviews, promotional videos, and social media content.

* Hands-on experience operating professional cameras and production equipment.

* Good understanding of lighting, framing, composition, and audio recording.

* Ability to create content for Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn, TikTok, and other digital platforms.

* Awareness of current content trends, viral formats, transitions, editing techniques, and platform updates.

* Strong attention to detail and the ability to apply feedback effectively.

* Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.

* Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team.

* Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines without compromising quality.

Qualification:
* A strong portfolio showcasing podcast edits, social media reels, videography, storytelling, motion graphics, and graphic animation is required.

* A bachelor’s degree is preferred but not mandatory.

* Practical skills, creativity, portfolio quality, and hands-on professional experience will be prioritized over academic qualifications.
