Product: Business Intelligence Platform for the AI Industry Employment: Full-time, 40 hours/week Duration: Long-term engagement, initially several months with a potential for 1+ year About the Product We are building a Business Intelligence platform for the AI industry that aggregates thousands of sources about AI, analyzes and ranks the information, and helps users understand what matters most in AI right now. The platform is designed for marketers, sales professionals, product managers, and investors who need to stay up to date with the rapidly changing AI landscape. The product is currently at an early MVP stage - essentially a newsletter combined with a web platform. We are now looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who can help turn the MVP into a reliable, scalable, production-ready product. Current Team The current team consists of: 1 Designer 1 Backend Developer 1 Senior Full-Stack Developer - you You will work directly with the client and closely collaborate with the existing team. What We’re Looking For We are looking for a Senior Full-Stack Developer who can work independently, make sound technical decisions, and think ahead about the future growth of the product. Requirements Strong experience with Python Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL Experience designing and optimizing database schemas with future scalability in mind Experience integrating third-party and business APIs Proven experience taking designs from Figma to production and turning them into high-quality, functional UI Strong understanding of building reliable, scalable, and secure software Ability to test your own code and make sure basic use cases work properly before handing features over Ability to clearly explain and justify technical decisions Fluent English - mandatory What’s Important to Us We are looking for someone who: Writes reliable, scalable, and secure code Thinks beyond the immediate task and considers the future growth of the system Understands how technical decisions can affect performance and scalability as the product grows Takes ownership of code quality and avoids sloppy implementations Tests their own work before considering a task complete Is comfortable working independently without constant technical supervision Communicates clearly and can explain the reasoning behind technical decisions Is comfortable with written documentation and keeping tickets up to date Can work directly with the client and take ownership of technical decisions Working Format Full-time - 40 hours/week Direct communication with the client, without a PM on the client side Morning stand-ups based on Pacific Time (PT) High level of autonomy and ownership Long-term engagement: initially several months, with a realistic opportunity for 1+ year of continued work
