Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, technical mentoring, and active participation in solving complex engineering challenges.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing engineering team while fostering a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
- Deliver high-quality software by driving execution, technical excellence, and predictable delivery across the software development lifecycle.
- Partner with globally distributed teams to align priorities and deliver customer value.
- Recruit, develop, and retain exceptional engineering talent while supporting career growth and building an inclusive team culture.
Requirement:
- 10+ years of software engineering experience, including 3-5 years leading high-performing engineering teams.
- Proven success delivering complex SaaS or cloud-native software products in Agile environments.
- Strong technical foundation in distributed systems, cloud-native architectures, and modern software engineering practices.
- Demonstrated ability to lead engineers, influence technical direction, and partner effectively with globally distributed cross-functional stakeholders.
- Experience building engineering teams through hiring, coaching, mentoring, and performance development.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with real-time communications, networking, or WebRTC technologies is highly desirable.
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
