Short Summary:
Crusoe is seeking a Senior Counsel – Commercial Cloud Transactions to support commercial contracting and strategic business initiatives, focusing on SaaS, software licensing, cloud services, and AI-enabled offerings.

Responsibilities:
- Lead customer, procurement, and strategic commercial negotiations.
- Be a trusted advisor to internal stakeholders, providing legal and business counsel.
- Suggest and build improvements to the contracting process.
- Exhibit agility with AI legal technology tools.
- Lead and support strategic pricing initiatives and commercial model optimization.
- Participate in internal approval workflows and prioritize contracts.

Requirement:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school and active bar admission.
- Eight (8) or more years of relevant experience in-house and/or at a law firm.
- Strong understanding of technology, including cloud services and software licensing.
- Demonstrated skill in drafting and negotiating complex agreements.
- Proven ability to balance legal risk against commercial objectives.
- Proficiency with AI and legal technology tools, Microsoft O365 / Google Workspace.
