Short Summary:
We’re looking for a proactive PR Associate, EMEA to help scale our communications program across the region. You will report to our EMEA PR lead to craft compelling stories, secure high-impact coverage, and manage regional execution from concept to completion.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the PR Director, EMEA in managing PR operations including editorial calendar, content, execution, reporting, and PR agency coordination.
- Focus on EMEA partner PR, regional speaking opportunities, and media awards.
- Contribute to promote press releases, blog posts, and other materials to support regional and local communications initiatives.
- Collaborate with PR agencies.
- Help manage day-to-day execution for EMEA PR programs.
- Support to monitor and manage inbound media requests.
- Organize media briefings, interviews, and PR-focused events.
- Help to maintain strong media relationships across all types of media outlets, develop story ideas, and manage stories.
- Support and help manage key executive spokespeople.
- Drive Regional Execution: Manage day-to-day PR operations across EMEA, including content alignment, editorial calendars, media briefings, and campaign execution.
- Elevate Our Voice: Support regional speaking opportunities, industry awards, and partner PR initiatives.
- Partner with EMEA Agencies: Collaborate closely with local agency partners to drive consistent strategy.
- Amplify Content: Package and pitch press releases, deep-technical blog posts, and research to regional and local media outlets.
- Manage Media Relations: Support inbound press inquiries and build authentic relationships with key tech and business journalists.
- Support Spokespeople: Prepare and brief executives and technical experts for interviews, keynotes, and media events.
Requirements:
- BA/BS in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, or Marketing preferred.
- 3–5 years of B2B tech PR experience (in-house or agency) focused on the EMEA region.
- An ability to get under the hood of complex technology and translate technical concepts into simple, compelling narratives.
- A hands-on, highly accountable approach.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication, strong project management, and meticulous attention to detail.
- Familiarity with leveraging AI tools to streamline workflows, research, and content creation.
- Fluency in one or more European languages alongside English, ideally Spanish and/or Italian.
