Short Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Network Systems Architect to lead the design and development of our next-generation high-performance NICs, influencing product strategy and industry specifications.
Responsibilities:
- Define end-to-end hardware/software architectures for RDMA, Ultra Ethernet, RoCE, and multipath transport.
- Architect NIC datapaths, offloads, programmable congestion control, load balancing, and multiplane networking.
- Translate customer, product, and standards requirements into implementable architectures.
- Design and evaluate queue, buffer, and telemetry systems.
- Interface with programmable logic team to define APIs and trade-offs.
- Decompose collective-communication libraries to derive minimum NIC primitives.
- Act as a technical interface to strategic customers.
- Drive multi-vendor convergence and standards development.
- Influence product strategy and technical roadmaps.
Requirement:
- Education: MS or Ph.D. in Engineering, Computing, or a closely related discipline.
- Experience: 16+ years in high-performance NIC and network-system architecture.
- Protocol Expertise: Deep understanding of RDMA transports and congestion control algorithms.
- Hardware/Software Co-Design: Background in FPGA/ASIC systems and defining firmware/driver interfaces.
- Leadership: Proven track record in cross-organizational decision-making.
- Active participation in network standardization bodies.
- Strong portfolio of issued patents, academic publications, or technical reports.
