Short Summary:
As part of BPM’s Valuations team, this role offers hands-on experience supporting a broad range of commercial real estate and business valuation engagements.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and analyze market data relevant to commercial real estate appraisal and valuation assignments.
- Contribute to valuation analyses through lease review, financial modeling, and development of income, cost, and sales comparison approaches.
- Assist in preparing commercial real estate appraisal reports and business valuation reports.
- Collaborate with cross-functional BPM teams to support integrated client solutions.
- Maintain strong attention to detail, organization, and adherence to deadlines.
- Be responsive and efficient while enjoying the culture of a high performing team.
Requirement:
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in real estate, finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skillset, including proficiency in Excel, Microsoft Word, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to synthesize and interpret market data, financial information, and valuation inputs.
- Detail-oriented with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Intellectual curiosity and a willingness to learn across both commercial real estate and business valuation disciplines.
- Prior internship or coursework in real estate finance, valuation, modeling, investment analysis, or market analysis is preferred.
