Short Summary:
As a Logistics and Asset Manager, you'll bring strategic, operational, and tactical logistic focused program management and asset management expertise to support asset visibility and accountability activities in Europe and Africa.
Responsibilities:
- Managing day-to-day logistics and operations
- Reconciling government property through inventories
- Tracking and maintaining installation property and government-furnished equipment
- Assisting clients with balancing resources, requirements, goals, and objectives
- Supporting asset visibility operations, including tracking and receiving inventory or property
- Documenting and tracking information in Global Combat Support System-Army (GCSS-A) and Decision Support Tool (DST)
- Exploring process improvements in property administration
- Completing miscellaneous tasks in support of mission requirements
- Facilitating customer meetings or conference calls
- Developing innovative solutions to complex problems
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 3+ years of government property management experience
- Secret clearance
- Experience with Decision Support Tool (DST), Installation Property Book and Inventory List management, DD1149 processing, and DD1428 or disposal processing
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SharePoint
- Knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and PGI regulations
- Ability to work independently and interact effectively with property stakeholders
