Short Summary:
The Head of Risk is a senior management role responsible for the development, implementation, and oversight of the firm’s enterprise-wide risk management framework, ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations and effective risk oversight.

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain a comprehensive risk management framework covering operational, market, credit, liquidity, legal, compliance, and reputational risks.
- Define and maintain the firm’s risk appetite statement and ensure effective risk policies are in place.
- Oversee ongoing risk monitoring and produce regular risk reports for senior management and the board.
- Act as the firm’s primary risk liaison with the FSRA, ensuring compliance with regulatory risk requirements.
- Ensure the firm’s risk management function is independent and integrated into governance structures.
- Review new business initiatives to assess associated risk impacts.

Requirement:
- Degree-level qualification in Risk Management, Finance, Economics, Accounting, Law, Mathematics, Engineering, or a relevant field.
- Extensive risk management experience within exchanges, clearing houses, capital markets, or virtual asset environments.
- Solid knowledge of the ADGM regulatory framework and key risk principles.
- Proven experience managing risk frameworks across various risk areas.
- Strong analytical capability and excellent communication skills.
- Comfortable working in a high-growth, highly regulated environment.
