Under designated supervision as part of the early morning stocking crew, performs a variety of duties, primarily physical in nature in the unloading, segregating, staging, transportation, and replenishing of merchandise.

Education: High school or equivalent. General experience: Six months of progressively responsible general experience which may have involved retail sales floor experience, is desirable.

Major Duties
Unloads merchandise delivery vehicles. Examines cases and packages for indication of damage or pilferage and points out discrepancies to supervisor.
Segregates merchandise by designated department or sales center and stages it for transport to sales floor. Strips wrapping from FDC merchandise and inserts hangers.
Moves merchandise to sales floor using hand, roller rack, pallet jack, dolly, or hand truck.
Displays and replenishes merchandise in a neat and presentable fashion in accordance with instructions. Price-marks merchandise as needed. Advises supervisor when damaged/defective merchandise is found.
Cleans fixtures and removes boxes, trash, and excess merchandise from sales floor.
Pulls backup merchandise from various locations in the stockroom, according to information provided by the reorder associate, and stages for the following days stocking. Assists in the conduct of interim and official inventories.
Ensures compliance with fire, safety, sanitation, and security regulations.
Actively communicates/promotes the benefits of the military star credit card to customers in order to drive sales growth and increase customer loyalty. Performs other duties as assigned.
