Short Summary:
Join Aprio's Tax Operations team as a Tax Support Specialist, providing national support to optimize efficiency, client experience, and quality control.
Responsibilities:
- Electronically deliver tax returns via SafeSend Returns or secure email to clients
- Create a high-quality client experience via professional, timely, and respectful communication and troubleshooting
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in firm workflow software
- Utilize firm workflow software to move tax jobs through firm processes
- Perform quality control review for completeness and accuracy of your own work
- Secure and protect Personally Identifiable Information in accordance with firm policy
- Provide standby support to other centralized teams
- Undertake ad-hoc tasks and other unique duties as assigned
Requirement:
- Experience with SafeSend or other similar tax applications is preferred
- Available to work overtime (evenings and weekends), as needed
- Ability to manage and prioritize assigned work using exemplary time-management and task-prioritization skills
- Ability to work independently
- Demonstrates ability to multi-task and turnaround assigned work accurately and in a timely manner
- Excellent administrative and computer literacy skills
- Strong organizational and customer service skills
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to self-review
- Positive, can-do attitude and ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
