Litigation Paralegal
The Litigation Paralegal is a full-time, on-site role based in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports attorneys in all phases of litigation, including organizing case files, preparing and managing discovery responses and document productions, and assisting with trial preparation. Day-to-day tasks include drafting and formatting legal documents, tables of authority, court filings, coordinating and reviewing case materials, conducting factual and legal research, and maintaining case calendars and deadlines. The Litigation Paralegal will collaborate closely with attorneys and staff, communicate with courts and third parties as needed, and help ensure that filings and submissions are completed accurately and on time. The role requires strong attention to detail, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment.

Job description:
ADK is seeking a highly skilled Litigation Paralegal with at least five years of experience to join our team of ten attorneys in our Downtown Los Angeles office. Our practice focuses on high-stakes, civil and white-collar criminal litigation in both federal and California state courts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide litigation support from intake through trial and post-judgment
- Manage discovery, including document collection, review, production, and e-discovery coordination
- Effectively manage document productions and document reviews in litigation support software
- Maintain case calendars, manage deadlines, and interface with docketing for compliance
- Assist in drafting, proofreading, and cite-checking legal documents
- Prepare exhibits, trial binders, and hearing materials
- Coordinate with clients, experts, and court personnel
- Assist with final Word document preparation of court filings, including Table of Authorities and including filing documents with the court
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of litigation paralegal experience in federal and California state court matters
- California Paralegal Certification Required (ABA, CPA, or equivalent)
- Demonstrated mastery of discovery procedures, docketing systems, and litigation timelines
- Strong writing, organizational, and communication skills
- Familiarity with relevant court rules and procedures
- Proficient in litigation support software and tools
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word formatting, page breaks, numbering, Table of Authorities, etc.
- Proficiency in Everlaw a plus, proficiency in other litigation support software (Relativity, Disco, or other a requirement)
- Experience with iManage or similar DMS preferred
