Short Summary:
As a Principal Technology Vendor Manager, you will develop and maintain relationships with Zalando's largest Technology vendors, enabling a culture of self-service and fast-paced decision-making within the Zalando Technology Foundation.

Responsibilities:
- Develop and sustain long-standing relationships with Zalando’s strategic Technology vendors based on trust and open communication.
- Establish standards to assess vendor performance and improve those standards.
- Stay informed of market trends and assist Zalando leaders with technology evaluations.
- Lead programs for executive governance and collaboration with critical providers.
- Organize strategic business reviews with technology vendors to set and update partnership goals.
- Drive high-stakes negotiations and represent Zalando’s interests.

Requirement:
- Deep understanding of critical technology for internet-based companies (cloud computing, AI, big data).
- Experience building effective partner relationships that yield long-term value.
- Knowledge of tech industry trends and translating them into strategies.
- Experience in accountability mechanisms and resolving issues.
- Skilled communicator, able to build relationships at multiple organizational levels.
