Short Summary:
The FP&A Senior Analyst - Planning and Cash Flow is a key role within the WPP Group FP&A team, providing critical financial insight and analysis that supports decision-making at the highest levels of the organisation. This position offers exposure to senior leadership, including the CFO and CEO, and provides the opportunity to influence strategic decisions through robust financial modelling, insightful analysis, and high-quality management reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Support the delivery of group-wide planning processes, including budgets, forecasts, and reforecasts.
- Coordinate planning timetables and manage operating unit queries.
- Assist with long-term financial planning across both P&L and cash flow.
- Prepare scenario modelling and sensitivity analysis.
- Maintain and monitor risks and opportunities tracking.
- Support the preparation of monthly Group cash flow reporting.
- Assist with periodic cash flow, liquidity, net debt, capex, and free cash flow forecasting activities.
- Prepare monthly management reporting, quarterly trading updates, and Board presentations.
- Perform detailed variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
- Continuously enhance financial models, reporting processes, and analytical capabilities.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree and ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CFA, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- Experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Audit, or a combination of Big 4 and FP&A experience.
- Advanced Excel modelling skills and exposure to planning, consolidation, or reporting tools.
- Strong analytical thinking and excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Highly organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
- Interest in emerging technologies, including AI.
