Short Summary:
As Senior Risk Manager, you will lead the implementation and ongoing operation of Wise’s Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) framework tailored to the EU region, ensuring alignment with governance and standards for new branch expansions and partnerships.

Responsibilities:
- Set and adapt standards for partner onboarding and ongoing monitoring.
- Implement the enterprise risk management framework for the EU region.
- Apply the Europe Risk Appetite, conduct risk assessments, and monitor key risk indicators.
- Provide risk advice to product teams for issue resolution and feature development.
- Review and approve policies for new branches, ensuring compliance with expectations.
- Support drafting of regulatory business plans and provide 2LOD Risk Management input.
- Present monitoring outcomes to relevant committees, including executive management and regulators.
- Provide updates on incidents, issues, and product risks to the management team.

Requirement:
- 6+ years of experience in risk management for EU and/or UK financial services institutions.
- Strong knowledge of European and/or Belgian risk management frameworks.
- Expertise in EU regulations such as DORA and third-party risk management.
- Experience in implementing enterprise risk management programs.
- Understanding of systems and reporting systems.
- Demonstrated track record of second line of defence independence.
- Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
