Short Summary:
The Wikimedia Foundation is seeking a Lead UX Researcher to lead mixed-methods research for the “Increase our Reach” focus area. This role involves partnering with cross-functional teams to identify and execute high-impact research opportunities that inform decisions and shape future strategy.

Responsibilities:
- Leading qualitative and quantitative UX research studies.
- Identifying and defining strategic research projects.
- Communicating research findings to stakeholders.
- Acting as a strategic thought partner for cross-functional leads.
- Informing planning and strategy discussions through research.
- Evolving best practices in UX research.
- Mentoring junior team members.
- Documenting and communicating research processes and results.

Requirement:
- 6+ years of UX research experience in a product organization.
- Deep expertise in qualitative methods (interviews, contextual inquiry).
- Ability to conduct quantitative research end-to-end.
- Collaborative skills to translate insights into actionable recommendations.
- Master’s or PhD in a relevant field.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
