Short Summary:
Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company focused on building the Waymo Driver to improve access to mobility and save lives. The Compute Team delivers the compute platform for fully autonomous vehicles, requiring high-performance custom silicon and system-level compute architectures.

Responsibilities:
- Define the architecture and microarchitecture for next-generation autonomous vehicle SoCs.
- Lead microarchitecture and implementation of IPs and subsystems.
- Collaborate with Architects, Firmware, and Software teams for feature closure.
- Perform power, area, and performance exploration of digital designs.
- Mentor engineers and guide relationships with external vendors.

Requirement:
- MS degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of industry experience in ASIC/SoC digital design and integration.
- Proven track record of technical leadership and hands-on experience with ASIC tapeouts.
- Deep expertise in SystemVerilog for RTL design and integration.
- Strong understanding of computer architecture and high-speed on-chip interconnects.
- Fluency in programming/scripting languages (e.g., Python, C++).
