Waymo is an autonomous driving technology company focused on building the Waymo Driver to improve access to mobility and save lives. The AI Foundations team develops machine learning solutions for autonomous driving, collaborating with other research teams in Alphabet.
Responsibilities:
- Build and operate petabyte-scale data systems and ML pipelines.
- Shepherd foundation models from research prototypes to robust components.
- Create automated infrastructure for benchmarking, monitoring, and releasing models.
- Utilize large-scale compute and frameworks like Flume and JAX.
- Partner with experts to transform model innovations into on-road improvements.
Requirement:
- Masters degree in Computer Science, Machine Learning, Robotics, or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in Python and C++.
- Familiarity with modern deep learning frameworks (e.g., Pytorch, JAX, Tensorflow).
- Experience building or maintaining large-scale data pipelines or ML infrastructure.
