Short Summary:
Waabi is a leader in Physical AI, focusing on autonomous transportation technology. The Electrical Engineering Team Lead will guide a team in designing custom electronics, ensuring they meet production standards and OEM requirements.

Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of electrical engineers on high-performance embedded compute and power distribution.
- Drive Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Design for Testability (DFT) for hardware iterations.
- Serve as the primary technical interface with contract manufacturers, managing NPI cycles and production bottlenecks.
- Translate OEM supplier requirements into engineering specifications for hardware integration.
- Ensure electrical systems meet automotive standards like ISO 26262 and AEC-Q100.

Requirement:
- BS/MS in Electrical Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years in hardware development, with experience leading or mentoring engineers.
- Deep experience with complex PCB design, high-speed signaling, and thermal challenges of AV compute platforms.
- Strong understanding of power distribution and automotive production standards (PPAP, APQP).
