Short Summary:
Virta Health is on a mission to reverse metabolic disease in one billion people. As the Director of Security Engineering & Operations, you will lead the Enterprise Security Engineering and Security Operations functions, focusing on Zero Trust Architecture and operational defense.

Responsibilities:
- Direct, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of security engineers.
- Lead the enterprise-wide transition to Zero Trust Architecture (ZTA).
- Oversee 24/7 Security Operations (SecOps) and manage outsourced MDR/SOC vendor relationships.
- Design and maintain robust blast radius reduction solutions.
- Curate and update operational artifacts that safeguard the environment.
- Evaluate legacy stacks and modern cloud services against the Zero Trust Maturity Model (ZTMM).
- Coordinate with GRC, IT, and Product teams to integrate operational security policies into code pipelines.

Requirement:
- 10+ years of experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Infrastructure Security, or SecOps, with at least 3+ years in leadership roles.
- Experience overseeing incident response programs and managing external vendors.
- Deep technical expertise in cloud security architecture, ideally GCP.
- Exceptional analytical capability and communication skills.
