Short Summary:
JAG Nebraska Specialists are teachers and educators, advocates for students, and caring adults and mentors. They teach a for-credit elective class for middle school and/or high school students, guiding them through project-based curriculum to help them grow in life and career skills.

Responsibilities:
- Provides instruction in a program proven to increase graduation rates and positive outcomes post-graduation.
- Establishes and advances relationships with school administrators and teams.
- Instructs classroom using the JAG Advantage (Project Based Learning, Trauma Informed Care, and Employer Engagement).
- Communicates effectively with school administrators, community leaders, and business partners.
- Documents student progress toward state and national performance goals.
- Teaches the JAG curriculum to ensure standards are met for the targeted student roster.
- Monitors attendance, academic performance, and progress towards goals of all cohort students.
- Facilitates opportunities for student engagements throughout the summer.
- Maintains confidentiality, integrity, and professionalism.

Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree required; focus on education, social services, or counseling preferred.
- Must obtain Nebraska CTE teaching permit within 90 days.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
- Experience with data entry and student support.
