Short Summary:
We are continuously growing and looking for a Network Security Engineer to join our UniQue Security & Compliance Services team. The ideal candidate will have experience with network and security tools across cloud and on-premises environments, with a strong understanding of protocols, encryption standards, and identity access management.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain secure network solutions across cloud and on-premises environments.
- Manage and configure security and networking tools, including firewalls, load balancers, and network components, to ensure optimal security.
- Monitor network traffic for unusual or suspicious activity and respond to security incidents.
- Collaborate with IT and security teams to integrate security tools with cloud platforms and automate infrastructure deployments.
- Develop and enforce security policies, protocols, and standards.
Requirement:
- Bachelor's degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, or in a relevant field.
- Master’s degree in Information Security, Cyber Security, or a similar area will be considered a plus.
- 3+ years of proven working experience as a Network Security Engineer or in a relevant role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols and technologies across all OSI layers.
- Hands-on experience with network/security tools and technologies such as Azure, AWS, Check Point, F5, Cisco ISE, and others.
- Familiarity with network and web-related protocols such as TCP/IP, UDP, DNS, HTTP, and HTTPS.
- Knowledge of encryption standards like SSL, TLS, and IPsec.
- Understanding of Identity Access Management (IAM) technologies, including Azure RBAC and AWS IAM.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Bicep, CloudFormation) is a plus.
- Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNP, AWS Certified Security, or Azure Security Engineer Associate) are advantageous.
- Flexibility to travel abroad (mainly in EU countries, 5% of the working time).
