Short Summary:
Truelogic is seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Corporate Accounting & Finance team, responsible for leading aspects of the accounting function at the Corporate entity in the Stagwell network.
Responsibilities:
- Perform monthly, quarterly, and year-end close activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries with supporting documentation.
- Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
- Support the preparation of financial statements in accordance with US GAAP (or IFRS, as applicable).
- Manage accounting for accruals, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, leases, and other corporate accounting areas.
- Assist with external audits by preparing schedules, supporting documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and accounting policies.
- Analyze financial results and explain significant variances.
- Collaborate with FP&A, Treasury, Payroll, Tax, and other business functions to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes, automation, and reporting efficiency.
- Participate in ERP implementations, system enhancements, or finance transformation initiatives as needed.
Requirement:
- Experience with large ERP and Accounting Software preferred (SAP, Oracle, INTACCT, Net Suite, Maconomy, etc).
- Corporate accounting experience.
- Basic knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Basic understanding of the technical aspects of account analyses and financial statements.
- Must be able to reconcile accounts and perform GL analysis.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting.
- 3+ years of Accounting experience.
- Basic Excel skills required (Sumif, Vlookup, Pivot Tables).
- Ability to set priorities, multi-task, meet critical deadlines, and pay attention to detail.
- Highly organized and motivated self-starter with good interpersonal communication skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Fluent English Level.
- Located in Latam.
