Short Summary:
TPConnects is a leading travel technology company with a rapidly growing engineering hub in Warsaw, focusing on modern airline retailing and software development.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, mentor and grow a team of software engineers.
- Create an environment for engineers to excel and develop their careers.
- Drive technical execution, balancing delivery, quality, and platform evolution.
- Partner with Product Managers and Architects to define technical solutions.
- Support architectural decisions and evolve scalable cloud-native systems.
- Foster engineering best practices across development, testing, and deployment.
- Remove delivery blockers and manage technical risks.
- Build a culture of ownership, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Contribute to hiring and growing the engineering organization in Warsaw.
Requirement:
- Proven experience leading and developing software engineering teams.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills.
- Experience in hiring and managing performance.
- Strong software engineering background, ideally with Java or similar technologies.
- Experience building cloud-native SaaS applications.
- Solid understanding of microservices, distributed systems, and API-driven architectures.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred).
