Short Summary:
Teradata is seeking a dynamic leader for the role of Senior Vice President, Chief Accounting Officer to transform the global accounting function, reporting to the Chief Financial Officer.
Responsibilities:
- Own SEC reporting, technical accounting, operational controllership, and financial shared services.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP and IFRS for internal and external reporting.
- Oversee technical accounting issues and revenue recognition.
- Evaluate and improve accounting procedures and systems.
- Manage a global team with six direct reports and 225 indirect reports.
- Serve as the principal interface with independent auditors.
- Develop and execute the financial systems strategy.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA preferred.
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA).
- 15+ years of relevant experience, including Big 4 public accounting and supervisory experience.
- In-depth knowledge of GAAP and financial disclosure requirements.
- Proven ability to run a complex and multi-site accounting organization.
