Short Summary:
Talos is seeking a Technical Solutions Engineer to lead technical implementations and connectivity integrations for institutional clients and trading counterparties. This role focuses on managing end-to-end onboarding of exchanges, liquidity providers, and institutional clients onto the Talos platform.
Responsibilities:
- Own the end-to-end onboarding process for clients and trading counterparties, from kickoff through successful production deployment.
- Lead technical integrations involving APIs, FIX connectivity, and platform configuration.
- Partner with Sales, Account Management, Engineering, and external stakeholders to deliver implementations on schedule.
- Manage onboarding timelines, track milestones, and communicate progress to internal and external stakeholders.
- Configure and validate client environments across Talos’ modular trading and portfolio systems.
- Troubleshoot integration issues and coordinate resolution with internal engineering teams.
- Develop and maintain onboarding documentation and integration best practices.
Requirement:
- 3+ years of experience in client onboarding or implementation within capital markets or financial technology.
- Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to lead stakeholders through structured implementation processes.
- Experience working with institutional trading systems, market connectivity, or financial infrastructure.
- Working knowledge of SQL and command line environments.
- Familiarity with configuration management, source control, and basic scripting (Python preferred).
- Exposure to FIX protocol, REST APIs, and JSON-based integrations.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple concurrent implementations.
