Sumsub is looking for an Employee Relations Manager to join their People team, focusing on employee relations and HR operations. The role involves managing complex terminations, grievance handling, and ensuring compliance with local labor laws.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage complex termination cases end-to-end, ensuring legal compliance.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for employee grievances, conducting investigations.
- Advise managers on performance management and disciplinary processes.
- Build relationships with stakeholders across departments.
- Draft and review sensitive documentation.
- Identify patterns in employee relations cases and recommend improvements.
- Maintain thorough case documentation.
- Own and maintain core HR processes, ensuring compliance with labor laws.
- Manage HR workflows and prepare HR reporting for leadership.
- Support payroll-adjacent processes and serve as a contact for employee questions.
Requirement:
- 5+ years of experience in HR, with a mix of HR operations and employee relations.
- Experience managing complex terminations and grievance processes.
- Fluent in English with knowledge of international labor law.
- Strong stakeholder management and judgment skills.
- Excellent written communication skills.
- Experience with HRIS systems and HR reporting.
