Short Summary:
Strike is looking for a Senior AML Investigator to lead complex financial crime investigations and own suspicious activity narratives end to end. This role involves high-risk investigations, on-chain tracing, and setting standards for bitcoin investigations.

Responsibilities:
- Lead investigations into high-risk and multi-jurisdictional activity, including structuring, layering, sanctions evasion, and fraud.
- Conduct on-chain tracing and attribution analysis on high-risk flows.
- Serve as Strike's internal authority on bitcoin investigations and act as an escalation point.
- Draft clear, defensible suspicious activity narratives and prepare filing packages.
- Identify emerging patterns for monitoring rule design and false positive reduction.
- Help shape the application of AI tooling to investigative work.
- Detect and escalate anomalies or suspicious behaviors in line with AML and fraud policies.

Requirements:
- At least 4 years in AML, financial crime, or fraud investigations, with a minimum of 2 years in blockchain or digital asset investigations.
- Demonstrated multi-hop tracing through various obfuscation techniques.
- Exceptional analytical abilities and outstanding written communication skills.
- Strong working knowledge of BSA/AML obligations and SAR filing standards.
- Proficiency with blockchain analytics tools and KYC/case management tools.
- Practical experience applying AI tooling professionally.
- Capability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a remote setting.
- English fluency is a must; additional languages are a valuable asset.
